Welcome to Travel Diva Dish!

For my first blog post on Travel Diva Dish, I thought I’d tell you a little about my travel agency and myself!

First, a little about me. I’m engaged to be married in September 2021 (hopefully, we’ve had to postpone it once already -- thanks Covid!). We’re doing a destination wedding in Jamaica at Sandals. After years of selling Sandals Resorts and completing their Destination Wedding Certification, it has been my dream to get married there. I can’t wait!

I love animals, being creative (I like to color, paint, draw and make jewelry) and I love music. My favorite vacations have always included learning about a destination and its history.

The name of my travel agency, Travel Diva Lisa, came from a nickname a past client gave me. I thought it was catchy and a little fun, so I decided to use it. I started this agency after working for other travel agencies for a little over 16 years. While I enjoyed my time at these agencies, I realized after the last one where I had worked, that I had to continue on my own. This was a blessing because my parents were getting older and needed me to help take care of them.

I decided to have my travel agency offer a more personalized experience to my clients because I felt in my previous travel agent jobs that we were essentially just order takers. We planned great trips for our clients, however somehow the personal element seemed missing. I wanted to have a connection with my clients that would help me plan an amazing trip for them that would make lasting memories.

This means asking questions to get a feel of what they like, dislike, what are fun activities they enjoy and etc.The answers to these questions really helps me determine the best options to offer my clients. This is the level of service that I would like, so it makes sense to offer it in my business.

If you have any questions you’d like to ask me about my agency or myself, feel free to comment or email me at I look forward to hearing from you and working with you to plan your wonderful vacation! To request travel planning assistance, email me or go to the Request A Quote page. Thank you!
